A Message from the President:

As we've reported previously, there are two VERY large developments proposed in PSNA's territory: Eastwood and Whisper Valley. I want to take this opportunity to give all members more information about Eastwood, which is now in the process of trying to get approval from the Austin Zoning and Platting Commission.

An important message from Hector Gonzales, Mayor of Webberville
- please read and take action -

House Bill 1195 (attached) is a bill that if passed into law; would require the City of Austin to get permission from Webberville before a landfill could be placed on the Austin Energy land in Webbervile.

Currently this bill is held-up in committee. We need to try and get the committee to send this to the House floor. So please take a moment to send an email to the House Committee Members stating your support of HB1195 and your opposition to Austin's plans to place a landfill in our area.

Below is a link to the house committee and it's members and contained within this web page is all of the members email addresses. Let's let the committee members and Austin know that we care about our community by supporting HB1195 and opposing Austin's plan!

Land at the corner of Blake Manor and Jone's Cemetary gets deeded to Travis County

Austin City Council has voted to deed this land to Travis County to realign the roadway. This will allow for the much needed improvement to change the blind corner, that has been the site of many an accident, to a sweeping curve.

Kudos to the PSNA members that stood behind this issue and pushed it through to action. Another solid win for the neighborhood.
